17.30 – 18.00: Registration
Collect your delegate pack and network with the other attendees.
18.00 – 18.45: MuseumNext
A short introduction followed by a presentation by facilitators Nina Simon and Jim Richardson on exciting participatory design projects from around the world.
18.45 – 19.15: Interactive introductions
Get to know the people around you with an introductory game.
19.15 – 19.45: Buffet supper
19.45 – 20.30: Pitches and Questions
Attendees who have been selected to pitch an idea to the MuseumNext audience take to the stage, each will present their ‘wild idea’ in five minutes and a maximum of twenty slides.
20.30 – 21.30: Start work
Attendees form informal groups around the ‘wild ideas’ pitched in the previous session to brainstorm how these ideas could become reality.
21.30 – 22.30: Open Idea Sharing
Whole group discussion and sharing of new ideas generated through the working session. Creation of unconference schedule.
22.30 – 23.00: Night at the Museum
A chance to network with the other delegates.
23.00: Close for the evening

9.00 – 10.00: Participatory Design from Outside
Presentation by Nina Simon on design frameworks for participatory museum design.
10.00 – 11.00: Unconference sessions
A choice of unconference sessions (led by attendees) on topics pertaining to participatory museum experiences, innovation, and successfully implementing new ideas.
11.00: Coffee break
11.15 - 13.00: Unconference sessions
A choice of unconference sessions (led by attendees) on topics pertaining to participatory museum experiences, innovation, and successfully implementing new ideas.
13.00 – 13.30: Buffet lunch
13.30 – 15.15: Back to work
The groups will continue to develop the project ideas from the previous days pitches and brainstorming, ready to present these back to the rest of the attendees.
15.15 – 15.30: Coffee break
15.30 – 16.30: Presentations
Each group will present back what they have developed over the course of MuseumNext.
16.30 – 17.00: Closing address
17.00: Close
